Co-op + Internship Support | Engineering students who gain experience during their academic careers obtain jobs more quickly and at a higher pay rate than those who do not. CDCR provides customized resources, programs, and staff support for the student co-op and internship search and experience including:

Workshops, Programs, and Recruitment Events | We organize workshops and programs each fall and spring designed to expand your knowledge of a wide variety of internship, co-op, global program, research, and full-time opportunities where you can protoype your interests and apply your academic experiences!

Next Level Class Assignments | Designed to embed career development within your engineering academic experience, we work with faculty to incorporate career development class facilitation and assignments in the classroom. By doing so, the college helps students prioritize your career design process early and throughout your Auburn Engineering experience.

On-Campus Interviews | Employers from across the country travel to Auburn University to interview students for co-op, internship, and full-time jobs. We host interview day events in conjunction with the engineering career fairs each semester. Some employers also schedule on-campus interviewing as needed throughout the year. Interview time slots are accessible by applying to associated jobs on Handshake or by invitation from a company recruiter.

Handshake and On-Demand Resources | Handshake is the primary platform where you can find co-op, internship, and full-time jobs. You can also use Handshake to find Auburn career resources, schedule career coaching appointments, and register for career events with recruiters, career coaches, and alumni. We also curate other virtual resources exclusively available for you at any time!

AU Career Discovery and Success | In addition to our office, you can access the resources provided for all Auburn University students at the Office of Career Discovery and Success.

To access, reserve a Career Discovery and Success appointment in Handshake.

It is our pleasure to serve as the front door for connecting you with Auburn Engineering students for recruitment purposes. We can create a customized recruitment experience to help you reach your recruitment goals.
