SELF-DISCOVERY
The Strong Interest Inventory (SII) is an assessment designed to identify your career interests by matching you with six broad basic interest areas and assigning you a 3-letter code for researching careers. Data is based on career themes, basic interests, personal style, and occupational compatibility. It takes about 30 minutes to complete this 317-item inventory and results are discussed with a career counselor in Career Discovery and Success. Please note there is a $30 fee associated with the SII.*
TypeFocus
TypeFocus assesses your personality type which is helpful to determine a career "fit" based on how you communicate, how you take in information, how you make decisions, and how you complete tasks. TypeFocus provides personalized reports that offer insight on career choices, job readiness, interpersonal skills, and learning styles.*
CliftonStrengths
Finding a career that is a good fit for your natural strengths is a key component of your career exploration. CliftonStrengths helps students recognize their unique talents and learn how these talents can be used in their everyday lives to maximize potential for personal growth and career satisfaction. The assessment identifies a student's top five strengths from a list of 34 talents while providing ideas on how to leverage those strengths to reach personal, academic, and career goals.*

Job simulations help you build real-life skills for real-life roles, offering a window into the company and a preview of the day-to-day for a role within the organization. Simulations are free, open access, and self-paced. You are also more likely to land a job with a company when you complete one or more of their job simulations!

GoinGlobal Country Career Guides enable jobseeker's to find employment abroad. It includes more than 10,000 pages of content by country including topics such as job search sources, work permit/visa regulations, resume writing guidelines and examples, employment trends, salary ranges, networking groups, and cultural/interviewing advice.
