In the final semester before graduating from Auburn, undergraduate and graduate students are asked to complete Auburn's First Destination Survey (FDS) which captures information related to their career plans immediately following graduation. Students who do not indicate full-time employment or enrollment in a program of continuing education receive outreach during the survey follow-up process, which lasts until six months after graduation. In addition to emails and phone calls, career outcome information is also gathered from students' LinkedIn accounts and other sources to approximate an accurate representation of career outcomes for Auburn graduates each year. FDS information is provided by the Auburn University Office of Academic Insight.
