PROMOTE A STUDENT RESEARCH POSITION

If you are seeking students to support your research activities, the CDCR is happy to promote those opportunities to students. You can submit details about your research assistant(s) needs which will be posted to the CDCR website and distributed as a notification to qualified student candidates.

REQUEST AN INDUSTRY SUBJECT MATTER EXPERT

If you would like to request a company speaker to connect what students are learning in the classroom to what they will see in the field, we are happy to facilitate a connection. Please submit your request at least two - three weeks in advance of the preferred date.

REFER A STUDENT

Students often turn to faculty members and advisors when seeking career advice. As you seek to assist students considering their future career paths, we hope you will also refer them to the CDCR regarding career topics.

  • Appointments and Drop-ins  |  Engineering career coaches are available to discuss a variety of career topics. Encourage students to schedule an appointment or stop by for a 15-minute drop-in.
  • Workshops + Programs  |  Career coaches and employers offer workshops on topics such as networking, interviewing, career fair prep, and much more.
  • Interview Rooms |  We provide quiet spaces for students to conduct virtual interviews or participate in virtual career fairs. Refer students to our front desk to reserve.
  • Career Fairs |  We host Engineering Career Fairs in each fall and spring semester in addition to a variety of niche recruitment events.
  • Job & Internship Search Platform | Handshake is Auburn University's job search platform. It is also where they will schedule to meet with Engineering Career Coaches. Encourage students to access it using their Auburn credentials, create a profile, and explore the platform.

REFER AN EMPLOYER

At times, you may be contacted by employers interested in recruiting students. The CDCR offers a range of services to help organizations hire Auburn Engineering talent.  Whether their goal is to increase visibility with students, start an internship program, fill an immediate need with a new graduate, or develop a leader for the future, the CDCR can assist with company recruitment needs.

Please feel free to refer any employers to the Engineering Corporate Relations team and we will be happy to assist them with their recruitment needs.
