Overview
An undergraduate research assistant position is available to support Dr. Brendan Higgins' work within the Department of Biosystems Engineering.
Seeking a highly motivated undergraduate research interested in growing algage on wastewater. The aim is to make the world more sustainable by converting waste into useful algal biomass and cleaned water. The student will have an opportunity to work with a continuous bioreactor system, analyze algae growth, and learn new analytical techniques.
Hours Per Week + Pay Rate
- 5 - 10 hours per week
- $12 / hour
- Majors: Biosystems, Chemical, Civil and Environmental
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
