Princeton Plasma Physics Lab Engineering Summer Internship - Jan 31 deadline
The Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) is a national laboratory administered for the U.S. Department of Energy by Princeton University.
The Engineering Summer Internship Program aims to increase the number of people from underrepresented groups in the energy work force. Undergraduate engineering students join engineers at the PPPL for 10 weeks which provides valuable, practical experience at a National Laboratory.
Participants are offered a stipend of $500 per week. Housing and travel are not covered.
Eligibility
- Must be enrolled in a four-year college or university
- Must be enrolled in relevant STEM courses
- Must be eligible for work in the United States
- Sophomores or juniors preferred
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- 18 years old or older
- Strongly recommended that students have some experience relevant to engineering design, analysis or fabrication; and a strong interest in engineering and technology
