The Department of Engineering Education at Utah State University will hold a ten-week program to provide undergraduate students in STEM disciplines an intensive experience in engineering education research such as how learners' experience, background, and perception play a role when they learn engineering knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older by the time the program begins on May 18, 2021
- Must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident of the United States
- Must be an undergraduate student who will not graduate before September 1, 2021 with good academic standing in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics undergraduate program
Program benefits
Each REU student will receive up to $8,450 including -
- Stipend of $6,000
- Housing and meal allowance of $1,700
- Up to $750 for a round-trip airfare ticket to use to travel and attend any conferences and support your research experience
