The Tom Corley Building and the Biological Engineering Research Laboratory house two primary classrooms, a conference room, a student design studio, collaboration spaces, 12 laboratories, and a research equipment fabrication shop. These laboratory facilities occupy over 39,500 square feet of space. The department has excellent research facilities for teaching, research, and extension programs because of renovations of the 2nd and 3rd floors of Tom Corley Building in 2016, the Biological Engineering Research Laboratory in 2013, and the state of the art CASIC building.
