Register Now for Stormwater Week 2026!
Over the years, we have had the pleasure of assisting and educating a diverse group of individuals, including designers, contractors, inspectors, regulators, and many others involved in managing stormwater, erosion, and sediment control in the southeast and beyond.
We are hosting two events: (1) Hands-on Erosion & Sediment Control Installer Training on May 12-13, 2026 (aub.ie/installer), and (2) Erosion & Sediment Control Field Day on May 14, 2026 (aub.ie/fieldday). These hands-on training events will provide a unique opportunity for attendees to learn about innovative methods of minimizing sediment impacts from construction sites and best practices for implementing these methods into their erosion and sediment control plans to meet their site-specific needs.
Since this is formal training, attendees will receive certificates for continuing education credits. Additionally, QCI refresher training credits can be attained from our Field Day event if you hold QCI certification from Thompson Engineering.
We have partnered with the International Erosion Control Association (IECA), who is handling the administrative aspects of these events. Established in 2009, the Stormwater Research Facility at Auburn University is dedicated to producing innovative and practical solutions for stormwater management. Through interdisciplinary research, product evaluation, and hands-on training, the facility remains on the forefront of stormwater research.
