Graduate Academic Advising
Master's students in industrial and systems engineering and engineering management who do not have a faculty advisor should see the graduate program coordinator (GPO) for advice on course selection or other academic issues. The GPO serves as the academic advisor for MISE students. When MISE students submit their Plans of Study, list Dr. LuAnn Carpenter as your advisor and Dr. John Evans as the department chair. Leave the rest of the committee members blank. Master of Science (thesis) and doctoral students list their thesis or dissertation advisor.
