In
case of an emergency, a decision was made to include
a gas-powered generator in our home as a backup energy
source. Our team chose two Master
MGH7000C generator sets as a backup power supply.
These are connected through a small breaker box to
the inverters. These units are rated at 6800 Watts
with 7000 Watts maximum. They deliver both 120 and
240 VAC and are powered by a 13 HP Honda engine with
a 5 gal fuel tank. They have an electric start and
dual duplex output receptacles (GFI).
