College awarded 18 communications and marketing awards

The Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering Office of Communications and Marketing recently earned 18 Educational Advertising Awards in the 38th annual Educational Advertising Awards competition.

These awards, which are decided by a panel of industry specialists, are given based on “creativity, marketing execution and message impact."

“These awards represent the innovative work and research being conducted by our exceptional faculty, staff, students and alumni,” said Austin Philips, director of engineering communications and marketing. “It’s an honor and a privilege to promote the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering for what it is — the best student-centered engineering experience in America.”

The office won eight gold awards, two silver awards, three bronze awards and five merit awards.

The following projects were selected for awards:

More than 2,000 entries were received from more than 1,000 institutions; 456 gold awards were given, 271 silver awards were given and 165 bronze awards were given.
