The Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Office of Communications and Marketing took home two medallion awards and an award of excellence at the recent annual meeting of the Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA). PRCA is a statewide organization committed to promoting the professional and ethical practice of public relations in Alabama.

“These awards are a reflection of the amazing students, faculty, staff and alumni we represent,” said Austin Phillips, director of engineering communications and marketing. “It is an honor and a privilege to share the success stories of the college’s students, the cutting-edge research being conducted by the faculty, the hard work of the staff and the distinguished careers of our alumni. They truly epitomize the Auburn spirit.”

Entries are evaluated on their own merits by public relations practitioners across the country. The highest honors are medallion awards, followed by the awards of excellence and Certificates of Achievement in each category.
