Requirements for M.Mtl.E.

• Completion of a total of 33 credit hours
• 30 hours 6000/7000-level courses, of which at least 24 hours are MATL courses
• 3 hours of MATL 7980
• No more than 6 hours transfer credit
• CTEC Form
• Final project presentation
• Advisory committee of at least 3 members, including the major professor
• Plan of study submitted in the second semester and approved by the advisory committee

Final Project

The topic of the project will be agreed upon by the student and advisory committee. The student must submit their final project report to their major advisor no less than 10 working days before their project presentation.
