Graduate School Opportunities

Some chemical engineers continue formal study to improve their job opportunities. A   master's degree  may help chemical engineers as they take on managerial and plant work. Chemical engineers with a   doctoral degree  may teach and conduct research in universities and industrial or government laboratories. Professional schools such as law or medicine also welcome chemical engineering graduates into their programs.
The best way to begin to think about graduate school opportunities  is to speak to the   Graduate Program Chair.   The departmental receptionist can provide the name of the faculty currently serving in this capacity.

A comprehensive source for graduate school information is available at  GradSchools.com , with nearly 40,000 program listings.
