This research is characterizing the long-term creep and shrinkage behavior of the concrete in the precast segmental bridge of the I-59/I-20 Birmingham CBD Project. The end result of this project is that the sustainability and long-term performance of the segmental bridge in Birmingham will be improved. This project will also assist to improve the return on investment in Alabama’s highway infrastructure.
