• Mohammad Azarifar, a Ph.D. candidate of ARTgroup, has recently been awarded First Place in the department’s Annual Poster Session and the Most Creative Functional Entry at Auburn University’s MakerFest Competition. His research was also presented in the field of energy during faculty appreciation week at Jordan-Hare Stadium. Additionally, his invention was featured by Auburn University on InPart, a global platform that connects researchers with industry leaders, providing an opportunity to share his work with a broader audience.

• Dr. Arik has been honored as an NAI Fellow in recognition of his extensive patent portfolio.
• Recent ARTgroup alumni received prestigious awards from ASME.
• 2022 ICHMT Hartnett-Irvine Award from ICHMT is awarded to ARTgroup.
  The International Centre for Heat and Mass Transfer awards annually the Hartnett-Irvine Award for the best paper on heat or mass transfer presented at a conference, symposium or seminar organized or co-sponsored by ICHMT in the previous year. Our paper in the 5th International Symposium on Convective Heat and Mass Transfer, CONV-22, titled "Effect of Subcooling and Pressure over Nucleate Pool Boiling on Micro Drilled Surfaces" has been cited as the reason for this award by the Honors and Awards Committee.
  The award will be presented at the ICHMT Awards Ceremony during IHTC17 that will take place in Cape Town during IHTC17 in August 2023.
