Abstract
A short presentation covering the conceptual design and volume integration of a single-aisle airliner. Starting with the payload and cargo requirements, a procedure will be presented covering the design & integration of the fuselage cross-section, LOPA (Lay Out of Passenger Accommodations), flight deck, forward fuselage, Auxiliary Power Unit, empennage, aft fuselage, fuselage loft, wing planform & loft, propulsion, and landing gear.

Aircraft Conceptual Design Consultant at Carnegie Aerospace LLC. Prior to this, he was a Senior Tech fellow, Aircraft configuration design & systems architecture at Safran. He worked for Boeing from 2004 to 2018 on various aircraft designs including 787, 777, 767, and 747. He received his BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an M.Eng in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University.
