Projects, outreach, competitions, conferences, etc.:

A walk for education October 27, 2019, a neighborhood walk to go door to door to spread eduction about SAT, and ACT scores. Following the walk, a series of science experiments were showcases from children of ages 5-14 to teach them about STEM fields.

Hidden Figures of Auburn, October 18, 2019. A panel with African American Women spoke to college students about diversity on campus, and in their careers.

Fall Regional Conference, November 16-18, 2019. Our chapter traveled to Montgomery, AL to attend the National Society of Black Engineers Fall Regional Confernce. Over 30 schools attended from all over the state where we got a chance to meet other students, network with companies, and learn about how to be a successful engineer. Many of our students recieved interviews with companies following this conference. 30 members were in attendence to this conference.

Mc^2 Karaoke Night, February 5th, 2019. This event raised money for Auburn University Dance Marathon to help children and families who experience and have experienced childhood cancer. All money from donatations and tickets sold went to the chilrens hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Black Girls Rock, April 13th 2019. This awards banquet event showcases Aftrican American women in Auburn's community, on campus, students, faculty and staff who have demonstrated positive community service, outreach, and support to others.

NSBE 45th National Conference, March 27-31, 2019. Our chapter will be traveling to Detriot, Michigan to attend the National Convention this year. It is attended to be able to teach our students how to network with companies, and create a brand for themselves. We have 33 people registered to attend.
