Internships

Internships in the tribology industry are available for students once they have been in the minor for one semester. They provide valuable experience in the field and connections for career placement. Large companies related to the tribology field include Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, Seagate, Hughes-Christensen, Lubrizol, General Motors, Ford, Palmer Holland, Valvoline, Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone, Molex, Tyco, Southern Company, Timken, Caterpillar, John Deere and Solvay Chemicals.
