K-12 Outreach
I believe in education...
The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering is involved in numerous activities designed to expose primary and secondary students to the world of engineering with the goal of strengthening and diversifying the engineering workforce of the future.
These fun and educational programs range from live-in summer camps to robotics competitions to interactive classroom activities.
Volunteer
The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering offers several outreach events throughout the school year that we would love for you to be a part of as a volunteer! Our volunteers will assist with preparation for the event, the event itself, and clean-up after the event. A few weeks prior to each event, we will contact you with a sign-up sheet with the detailed information regarding each outreach event. You will be able to select the dates and times that work best for your schedule. Volunteering is a great way to get involved within the College of Engineering, encourage youth to stay involved in STEM related activities, and it is a wonderful addition to put on your resume!
If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding volunteering, contact Sydney Riley at snt0012@auburn.edu. We hope you will consider joining us in our outreach efforts! You never know the difference you may make in a student’s life through your service!
