Our
Photovoltaic (PV) array consists of 36 individual
BP3160
solar panels divided into 18 series sets of
two modules per set. The power rating of each module
is 160 watts with a short circuit current of 4.8 amps.
Since objects in series carry the same current, the
current output of our series set of modules is also
4.8A. The panels are attached to the roof using the
Fast
Jack system, which elevates the panels above
the roof surface allowing air to move around them,
which helps to keep them cool, helping to maximize
their efficiency.
