The
diagonal red lines on the south side of our home
focalize on the Washington Monument. The obelisk
form of this monument is an ancient Egyptian symbol
of a sun ray. This alignment is an urban design
gesture particular to our site context. In addition,
the north diagonal wall focalizes towards a view
of the Smithsonian castle and its towers on the
mall.
