The Distinguished Graduate Seminar Series recognizes excellence in the presentation of outstanding graduate student research. The Council of Engineering Graduate Students founded this series to award graduate students with great presentation skills that are also able to effectively communicate their difficult research topic to a wide audience. The award is presented biannually to three graduate students in recognition of their of outstanding oral and technical presentation skills, as well as for their contributions to their field of research through conference presentations, seminars and invited speeches. Nominations are accepted from faculty, staff and students in the college of engineering.
