2023 in review: Top Auburn Engineering videos of the year

2023 was a big year for the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. The college wrapped it's 150th year celebration with a video recognizing life-changing engineering research and also recognized 100 years of Auburn women in engineering. Other notable videos highlighted student outreach, building industry connections and unique family ties to the college. Among the many videos produced by the college in 2023, we count down the top five most-engaging videos across our social platforms:
5. The Burches of Auburn
Tom and Hunter Burch are thought to be the first father-son faculty colleagues in the college's history.
4. Numbers Don't Lie
Nearly 90% of Auburn Engineering graduates gain positive career outcomes within six months after graduation and that number jumps past 90% for students who completed an internship or co-op rotation. These statistics wouldn’t exist if not for the hard work and encouragement of theAuburn Engineering Office of Career Development and Corporate Relations.
3. Brighter Futures, Brighter Rockets

2. 100 Years of Women in Auburn Engineering
In May 1923, Maria Whitson made history as the first female to graduate from the College of Engineering at Auburn University. One hundred years later, Auburn Engineering alumnae are still shattering glass ceilings.
