38 Auburn Engineering scholars ranked among the world's top two percent of cited researchers

Thirty-eight current and former scholars from the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering are ranked among the world’s top 2 percent of all independently cited researchers, according to a study recently released by Stanford University.
The annual analysis, “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators,” stems from a database of worldwide scholars crediting all-time citations through 2022.
Auburn Engineering scholars recognized are (in alphabetical order):

- Sushil Adhikari, professor of biosystems engineering and director of the Center for Bioenergy and Bioproducts
- Prathima Agrawal, professor emeritus of electrical and computer engineering

Metrics for the study included the number of citations, h-index (productivity and citation impact of publications), co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers through a variety of authorship positions and a composite indicator.
