WATCH: Matthew Rogers on becoming a Rhodes Scholar and the future of cybersecurity

Matthew Rogers, senior in software engineering, was recently named a 2018 Rhodes Scholar – one of only 32 in the nation and only the fifth in Auburn University’s history. With the scholarship, Rogers will attend the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom to pursue a doctorate in cybersecurity. We recently sat down with Rogers to discuss his research and studies at Auburn, multidisciplinary approaches to cybersecurity and what he hopes to achieve as a Rhodes Scholar.
