Venue and Accommodation

Auburn University is located in the central southeastern U.S., approximately 100 miles (160 km) southwest of the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  Shuttles between AU and ATL are available in 1.5-hour increments (16 trips per 24-hour). The historic town of Auburn Alabama is home to approximately 65,000 residents and is often referred to by locals as “the loveliest village on the plains”.  Auburn University is a prominent research and education institution with approximately 30,000 students.  Technical sessions and meetings will be held at AU facilities, including the new 142,000 sq ft Brown-Kopel Engineering Student Achievement Center.  Hotel accommodations include The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center, which is conveniently located adjacent to the university and the city center.

Airport Transportation

Groome Transportation provides shuttle service from Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport to our AU Hotel Conference Center as well as some other locations in Auburn. Reservations are required and can be made online at   The Atlanta airport is on Eastern Time and Auburn is on Central Time.

Hotel Information

The AUHCC reduced rate block has been filled. It may still be possible to book rooms at AUHCC, but not at the conference block rate. We have reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott TownePlace Suites (details below), and we are planning to have shuttles that assist with delegates that stay at the TownePlace Suites. For those with their own vehicles, there are many other good hotel options; we will provide parking instructions later.
