The third annual Engineer Together design competition, hosted by the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee, opens on Thursday, Nov. 9. The competition seeks designs that visually depict the meaning of Engineer Together.

The 2023 winning design was submitted by biosystems engineering student Camille Coulter. Coulter's design was adopted by the Inclusion and Diversity Committee for use on select promotional items and the Engineer Together webpage for the year. This year’s winning design will also be adopted for the year and the top two designers will earn cash prizes.

Entry into the design contest is open to all engineering students. Students outside of the College of Engineering may enter if paired with an engineering student. Engineering student organizations are also eligible to submit a design on behalf of the organization. Up to three designs per individual applicant or organization will be accepted. Submitted designs will be evaluated by a subcommittee of the Inclusion and Diversity Committee and representatives from the college’s Office of Communications and Marketing. Entries will be accepted starting Nov. 9 and the contest will close Wednesday, Jan. 31. Winners will be announced on Feb. 15 at the college’s annual Engineer Together Day.

A full list of entry requirements can be found on the Engineer Together Design Competition webpage, including submission deadlines and access to the entry form.
