The road you drove on today. The building where you’re sitting. The clean water you’re drinking. These are just a few ways civil engineers serve people and why they are called “architects of our constructed world." As a part of the oldest and broadest engineering discipline, civil engineers create, operate, and maintain the facilities and systems that serve the basic needs of our society.
