Visit Policies and Procedures

Greetings from the Plains! We are excited to have you on campus to show you why we have the best student-centered engineering experience in America. To ensure the health and safety of Auburn University’s community and our visitors, we have put in place the following measures based on public health directives from the State of Alabama and the CDC.

Before Your Visit
To register for an engineering tour and/or information session, please visit www.eng.auburn.edu/visit. To ensure the safety of our staff and students, we are limiting all families to four (4) members: one (1) prospective student, and three (3) guests.

Masks and Hygiene
Masks are required inside all university buildings, transportation services, and other areas marked by official university signage. Hand sanitizing stations can be found throughout the engineering buildings and across campus.

Our public restrooms will be available for use. We strongly encourage abiding by public health guidelines, including washing your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds, or using hand sanitizer.

On the Day of Your Visit
On the day of your visit you will be asked to check in at the welcome desk in the Brown-Kopel Center. Your family will then be directed to a waiting area or table in the lobby to wait until your tour guide arrives.

During your tour, we ask you to follow all social distancing guidelines. We discourage personal contact and advise guests to maintain physical distance with the tour guide and not to offer a handshake. Instead, we can greet one another with a big “War Eagle!”
