Family:

Kim and I moved to Alabama from Utah where we lived for 15 years. We had previously lived in Illinois, Georgia, Minnesota, and South Carolina. We have two children, Tony and Anabel. Kim is a recreation therapist who is now a full time mother. We enjoy skiing, hiking, camping, exercising, and geocaching.

Non-academic, Non-productive Interests:

Watching and wagering on collegiate sporting events (humiliation bets), fixing or repairing things that should probably be thrown away, getting a deal on anything (especially by haggling), engaging in pointless rivalry banter (particularly regarding BYU/BAMA), doing things I’ve been told cannot be done, complaining about rain and humidity, and proposing infeasible, but “really good” solutions to philosophical dilemmas.
