Animal Models for Human Genetic Disorders

Researchers in the CVM are interested in using fMRI and MRS/MRSI to study neurodegenerative disorders in small domestic animals and rodents. These modalities and standard MRI at 7T would also be useful in phenotyping transgenic mice, stem cell biology and transplantation, and studying tissue and cell-specific markers in dogs and cats.
