The faculty advisors working on the project with the team have been outstanding in their efforts to ensure a safe and productive workplace for all involved. Specific examples of this include:

• All faculty advisors wear the appropriate PPE for the task they are performing, setting the correct example for the students.
• Faculty advisors require that students wear appropriate PPE if they are not already doing so.
• Stress analysis was performed on the lifting eyes, bolts, and cables used to lift the major overhead sections of the roof, ensuring that the hardware was capable of handling the load. A team member performed this work with oversight by the mechanical engineering faculty advisor.
• The biosystems engineering advisor determined that students working from an elevated platform needed to wear fall protection harnesses (PPE). He independently acquired it and required them to wear it immediately.
