Auburn Engineering communications and marketing team earns 21 Public Relations Council of Alabama awards for written, digital content

The Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Office of Communications and Marketing recently earned 21 awards for written/digital content in the 2026 Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA) Medallion Awards Competition, more than any communications or marketing unit in the state.

PRCA is a statewide organization committed to promoting the professional and ethical practice of public relations in Alabama.

“The PRCA is a great organization that does a phenomenal job of promoting public relations in the state of Alabama,” said Austin Phillips, director of engineering communications and marketing. “We are thrilled to be recognized by our peers in this highly competitive competition, as it’s an honor and a privilege for our staff to come to work each day to promote this exceptional engineering college.”

The Medallion Awards highlight work of public relations professionals in Alabama. Each entry was judged by industry experts, showcasing creativity, innovation and the impactful communication strategies.
