Ten graduate students studying in the Auburn University Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE), and 17 Auburn University students overall, have been awarded scholarships from the Institute for Printed Circuits Education Foundation (IPCEF).
These students are all members of Auburn University's IPC Student Chapter and the total scholarship amount awarded to Auburn students equaled $20,000.
"This scholarship will allow me to continue to pursue my passion in engineering," said ISE doctoral student Duha Ali. "The IPC scholarship is an important and aiding step in the immense ladder towards achieving my goal of earning a graduate degree in the engineering field. More than being monetary support, receiving this scholarship has brought me one step closer to a rewarding career. It encourages me to achieve more and provides me with an opportunity to expand my educational horizon."
ISE graduate student Ehab Hmasha said the scholarship is more than a monetary gift.
"For me, receiving this scholarship means more than just getting money; it also signifies that I am seen as having potential for our society's future," Hmasha said. "I will always have people to thank for my accomplishments, and I am very grateful for the kind financial aid provided to me so that I may further my education."
A total of $25,000 was awarded to IPC Student Members for their accomplishments across various chapters, including Auburn University, Kirkwood Community College, Texas Tech, Triton College, UC Irvine, University of New Orleans, and Valparaiso University.
