Auburn Alumni Association to honor 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award and Young Alumni Achievement Award recipients

Five Auburn University graduates, all highly accomplished in their fields, have been selected to receive the highest honor given by the Auburn Alumni Association at Auburn’s 2023 Lifetime Achievement Awards dinner and ceremony on Feb. 25. The association will also honor one Young Alumni Achievement Award recipient.

Lifetime Achievement Awards will be presented to Robert E. “Bobby” Lowder ’64 of Auburn, Charles Douglas McCrary, ’73 mechanical engineering, of Birmingham; John Thomas "Tom" Walter, Jr., ’55 engineering physics, of Dallas; and the late Michael “Mike” McCartney, ’57 civil engineering, of Gadsden, who will be honored posthumously. Rose-Gaëlle Belinga, ’09 software engineering, of New York is the 2023 Young Alumni Achievement Award recipient.
