The rumors aren't true. Dan Phillips, '85, did not tutor Tim Cook in school. But he's not surprised that a fellow industrial engineering graduate makes decisions for the world's first trillion-dollar company. That's just what Auburn Engineering does — prepares students to dive into whatever corner of the real world they want to.
