Council of Engineering Graduate Students hosting annual research showcase Nov. 7

More than 130 engineering graduate students will participate in the 2019 Graduate Engineering Research Showcase on Thursday, Nov. 7. 

The annual event, sponsored by the Council of Engineering Graduate Students, features poster presentations to showcase the work of Auburn Engineering’s graduate students. 

James Weyhenmeyer, Auburn University’s vice president for research and economic development and the showcase’s keynote speaker, will deliver opening remarks at 1:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall of the Brown-Kopel Engineering Student Achievement Center. 

The poster presentations will take place from 2-4 p.m., also in the Grand Hall. Guest speaker Linda Abriola, engineering professor at Tufts University and director of the Tufts Institute of the Environment, will speak at 4:15 p.m. in Brown-Kopel Room 2133.   

The event will conclude at 7 p.m. with the Awards Banquet in the Grand Hall.
