Brown-Kopel Engineering Student Achievement Center now open

The wait is over.
After nearly two years of construction, the doors to the new Brown-Kopel Engineering Student Achievement Center are open.
Students in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering can enjoy the phenomenal three-story facility starting Aug. 19.
The center's hours of operation for the week of Sept. 8-13 are 7 a.m. - 10 p.m., Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m on Friday and Sunday from 1 p.m. - 10 pm
In addition to serving as the home for engineering student organizations, the ground floor includes am innovation center; a design studio, which consists of student maker spaces, laboratories, shops and project incubators; study rooms; classrooms; computer labs and a café serving fresh sandwiches, soups, drinks, snacks and Starbucks Coffee.
The main floor houses suites for tutoring and learning suites, an academic advising suite, student recruitment suite, career development and corporate relations suite, the Engineering Academic Excellence Program and offices for support staff.
The top floor incorporates ample, spacious student study areas with large-group and small-group study rooms, along with boardrooms, conference rooms and a flexible Grand Hall outfitted with the latest smart technologies.
