On Friday, Aug. 16, more than 250 female engineering students and their families will gather in Broun Hall to celebrate their introduction to the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. Matriculating freshman, transfer and graduate students will hear from Christopher B. Roberts, dean of the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, current members of the 100+ Women Strong program and keynote speaker, Antoria Guerrier, ’00 electrical engineering.

Guerrier is the senior analytics architect for the Coca-Cola Company. She is also a member of the 100+ Women Strong program, which was created in 2012 to recruit, retain and reward women in engineering.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the program begins at 9:30 a.m.
