SEC names 16 Auburn engineers to First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll
Sixteen Auburn Engineering student-athletes have been named to the 2016 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll list, according to an announcement from SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey.
To qualify for the honor roll, each recipient must:
- Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Be on scholarship or a letter winner.
- Have completed 24 semester hours of non-remedial credit at their home institution.
- Have been a member of the varsity team for the sport’s entire NCAA Championship segment.
The SEC First‐Year Academic Honor Roll is for scholastic achievements from the 2015‐16 academic year.
Auburn engineers make up 19 percent of the 84 Auburn student-athletes recognized. The following Auburn Engineering students were named to the honor roll:
