Gue Named President of Material Handling Education Council

Kevin Gue, associate professor of industrial and systems engineering, has been named president of the College-Industry Council on Material Handling Education (CICMHE).

Founded in 1952, CICMHE is an independent organization that provides information and teaching materials to university educators, material handling equipment manufacturers, distributors and material handling education consultants in support of education and research.

Gue received his bachelor's degree in mathematics in 1985 from the U.S. Naval Academy and his master's and doctoral degrees in operations research and industrial engineering from Georgia Tech in 1992 and 1995. His research interests include logistics modeling and optimization in the areas of distribution, transportation, warehousing and material handling.
