Ross Hall

Renovation has begun on Ross Hall, an engineering landmark constructed in 1930 with funds for Auburn University's first campaign - The Greater Auburn Fund. The $13.5 million renovation and addition of 10,000 square feet of new space will transform the historic Georgian structure adjacent to Samford Hall into a state-of-the-art facility that anticipates future technologies and enables cross-disciplinary collaboration. Sophisticated research, support, and classroom facilities will provide the programmatic flexibility necessary to ensure the college's place among the engineering programs that will shape the twenty-first century.

Auburn Engineering looks to alumni and friends to provide $3.5 million in funding for this project, which will house the Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering departments as well as a state-of-the-art multimedia auditorium.
