Candi Vann

B.S., General Social Science Education, Auburn University (2010)

Responsibilities:

As the Director of Advising for Engineering Student Services, Candi is responsible for the continuous improvement of programs and services provided by pre-engineering advisors. Additionally, Candi teaches a learning community course for incoming freshman students designed to build essential academic skills and behaviors. This course emphasizes the development of critical and creative thinking abilities, helping students build a strong foundation necessary for success and persistence in engineering.  

About Candi:

Candi grew up 15 minutes from Auburn. She is an avid traveler and sports fan. She spends most of her free time near a softball field watching her teenage daughter play year-round on travel ball team. She is married to her middle school sweetheart, Adam.

Fun Fact:

She and Adam stayed in a treehouse for a week in the jungles of the Dominican Republic and rode a zip line 500 feet above the jungle floor.
