Auburn Engineering communications and marketing team earns nine Public Relations Council of Alabama awards for written, digital content

The Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Office of Communications and Marketing recently earned nine awards for written/digital content in the 2024 Public Relations Council of Alabama (PRCA) Medallion Awards Competition.
PRCA is a statewide organization committed to promoting the professional and ethical practice of public relations in Alabama.
“These honors showcase the incredible talent and dedication of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni,” said Austin Phillips, director of engineering communications and marketing. “Getting to tell their stories — from the groundbreaking research led by our faculty to the determination of our students, the commitment of our staff and the remarkable achievements of our alumni — is both a privilege and a joy. They are the embodiment of what the Auburn spirit is all about.”
Entries are evaluated on their own merits by public relations practitioners across the country.
The following projects were recognized:

- Auburn DBF team has Top 20 finish in AIAA Design, Build, Fly Competition: Award of Excellence (writing)

- World’s first field-installed, clinically approved parallel transmit 7T MRI scanner resides at Auburn University: Award of Excellence (writing)
