Auburn Engineering wins 10 awards for excellence in communications and marketing

The Auburn University Samuel Ginn College of Engineering recently won 10 awards for superior communications and marketing initiatives in support of the college.
The Office of Engineering Communications and Marketing won four awards in the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, or CASE, District III awards program and six awards in the Education Digital Marketing Awards.
“We are always looking for new and unique ways to tell the stories that define our outstanding Auburn Engineering students, faculty, staff and alumni,” said Austin Phillips, director of engineering communications and marketing. “Whether it’s through traditional marketing campaigns or innovative digital strategies, we are proud to help shape the public image of this fantastic college. I am thrilled the staff’s work on these projects has been recognized amongst the best in the nation.”
Auburn Engineering won four awards from CASE District III in the following categories:
- Gold Award, Alumni Website or Microsite: Auburn Engineering alumni website
- Silver Award, Recruitment Video: 100+ Women Strong recruiting video
- Silver Award, Online Innovation/Experimentation: #GINNing podcast
- Bronze Award, Specialty Piece: Career Development and Corporate Relations industry banner stands
CASE District III is a professional organization for alumni relations, fundraising, communications, marketing and other advancement professionals who work at institutions in the southeastern United States. The awards will be presented at the CASE District III annual conference Feb. 9-12 in Orlando.
The college also won six Gold Awards in the Education Digital Marketing Awards, sponsored by the Higher Education Marketing Report, in the following categories:
- Digital Video: Biomechanics in the Arts video
- Institutional Directory: Auburn Engineering online directory
- Development Website: Auburn Engineering giving website
- Online Publication: Auburn Engineering e-magazine
- Admissions Website: Auburn Engineering recruiting website
- Institutional Website: Auburn Engineering website
