An ergonomics model developed by an industrial and systems engineering doctoral student has helped General Motors transform a production line to produce ventilators to aid in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
Two research training programs associated with the Center for Occupational Safety, Ergonomics and Injury Prevention at Auburn University have been reaccredited for another six-year term. The programs are “Occupational Safety & Ergonomics” and “Occupational Injury Prevention,” and both are sponsored by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
