Updates
If you are at AU, and are thinking about using the LATEX typesetting language for preparing technical documents, this page lists a few resources and links that will prove helpful. It would be a good idea to subscribe to the TEX-users mailing list at Auburn.
Dr. A.S. Hodel produced a very good collection of LATEX resources. You will find there an introduction to LATEX, a great many tutorials, "getting started" tips, general references, and information about many LATEX utilities. In addition, you might find yourself persuaded to go the apple way. :)
