Richard SesekRichard Sesek is an Assistant Professor in the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Auburn University. He joined the faculty in 2009. Previously he was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Utah. Research Interests include industrial ergonomics, human factors/engineering psychology, safety engineering, biomechanics, ergonomic modeling and ergonomic survey tools, occupational safety and health standards and compliance. Dr. Sesek is a certified safety professional and certified professional ergonomist. Dr. Sesek is director of Occupational Injury Prevention Research Training (OIPRT) within the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department’s Occupational Safety and Ergonomics/Injury Prevention Program which is part of the Deep South Center for Occupational Safety and Health. The Deep South Center is a National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Education and Research Center (ERC).
